Are tandemflights available all year round?
Yes! Spring summer, autumn and winter – the SkyGlide Team operates flights all year round. The tandemflight is a real adventure at any time of year, as long as the weather plays ball.

Is any prior paragliding experience necessary?
No – whether you’ve been paragliding before or this is your first time, you’re in safe hands with us. We’ll explain everything you need to know before take-off. You don’t need to be super fit either.

What should I wear?
Wear ankle-length walking boots and seasonal clothing. If desired, we can provide warm clothing and shoes.

Are there any age restrictions?
No – there’s no such thing as too young or too old! We’ve taken people between the ages of 3 and 89 paragliding. Please note, however, that children and teenagers under the age of 16 require the permission of an adult guardian.

Are there weight restrictions?
For passengers weighing below 30kg and over 100kg, two-person flights are assessed on an individual basis. Don’t be shy – get in touch to have a chat with us.

How much time should I allow for the flight?
That depends. Depending upon the flight booked, we need between one hour and two and a half hours for the hike to the take-off site, preparations, and the flight itself.

When can I book a date?
Any time – we recommend booking at least one week before the desired flight date for a duo flight. However, we also accept last-minute bookings depending on the reservations already scheduled.

What about the weather?
Paragliding is weather-dependent – rain or snow, fog or strong winds can make postponing necessary. We will inform you by text message or email at around 7pm the night before the flight to let you know whether the flight can go ahead.

How do take-off and landing work?
A few short steps and… lift off! Your pilot will explain all the details when you’re at the take-off site. After a truly spectacular flight, you will simply land gently on your feet. You do not need any prior knowledge, we’ve got it all covered.

How do I get to the take-off site?
You’ll get the cable car to the take-off site accompanied by your pilot. The meeting point will be arranged during booking.

Can I take photos and videos on my phone?
Yes and no! Before take-off, absolutely. During the flight you can’t use your phone for safety reasons. But we’ll hang onto your phone for you during your flight.

Will I receive photographs?
Of course – we will capture your flight on camera. You can purchase photos and videos from us, and we’ll send the files directly to a device of your choice.

Can I bring along a small bag?
Yes – we will happily keep hold of a small item like a backpack while you’re paragliding.  Just ask us!

Can my family and friends watch?
Yes – of course! Your companions are very welcome to watch as you soar through the air. The best place to do this is from the landing site, where they can meet you as you land. We can also take your spectators to the take-off point, depending on the flight area.
